Noted Edmonton artist Steven Csorba is back! Csorba captures Oilers defenceman Chris Pronger's grit and determination in this stunning original artwork. Pronger formed an impenetrable wall along the Edmonton blueline and was the key to the team's playoff run to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2006. This project features layers of paint, including a unique watered acrylic technique and heavy glazing with an attractive textured background. This original painting is on heavy wood board, measuring a substantial 24" x 32", signed by the artist. Csorba works stand as a tribute to the legends of the past. His Wayne Gretzky lithograph series from the early to mid-1980s was an extremely successful offering and numbered prints sell for between $1000 and $4000 in today's collector market with his more recent originals bringing even higher prices.
